Safety Statement
At Kenya Aerotech, safety is an integral part of our values system. We are committed to ensuring that the highest standards of safety are applied in our work processes and systems; from employee recruitment and training to procurement of operational supplies, to the way we dispose of our by-products, every process is directed towards guaranteeing a safe and secure service to all our clients. A performance based system for management is already in place. Each manager’s performance is periodically appraised on safety based deliverables, among other targets.
Regular operations review meetings, operational reports, feedback from staff and clients act as a vital source of information for monitoring performance and instituting corrective action. Safe practices are also reinforced. Any incident that goes unreported is a lost opportunity to improve. We encourage all our staff to report accidents promptly and where possible, propose better ways of working that will minimize risk and recurrence.
As Managing Director of Kenya Aerotech, I am aware of the benefits of an effective Safety Management System to my organization. I hereby reassure my staff that my office will continue to provide the necessary resources and moral support in order to entrench safety as a key driver of the organization’s success.
